On the face of the clock, time is twofold: the time of your day and that of a timeless fiction. With each passing hour, the hand invites you on a mirrored journey through Dostoevsky’s work. Your morning rises with the protagonist’s ideal, your afternoon reveals his torments. The fall of day reflects the relentless journey of his soul, before midnight rings in the grandeur of redemption. Thus, in watching time flow, you are not only living your present, but contemplating the great cycle of existence as told by a masterpiece.

Reversing the path of his own abstract revolution, we condensed geometric fragmentation here to violently re-summon the human figure (in the center between 11:00 and 12:00), marking the culmination of Crime and Punishment. This angular, torn face is no ideal of beauty, but a raw portrait of Raskolnikov’s soul: a bruised humanity managing a painful reassembly after the chaos of guilt and expiation.

Our project was born from the meeting of four minds united by the desire to create an object that is both unique and innovative. The genesis of our timepieces is rooted in a deep love for culture and literature: our foremost ambition is to offer work that is artistic, meticulous, and authentic.

Portrait of Elio

Elio

Artist & Photographer

Woven with art and otherness, he says he has no talent, except for revealing it in others and uniting the breaths around a project. In the winter wind that swept through Parc des Bastions, his soul became linked to that of Dostoevsky. It was a mid-January Thursday in 1868 during the writer's visit to Geneva.

Portrait of Ryme

Ryme

Creative Director

Driven by a passion for forging connections between different worlds and cultures, Ryme ensures the harmony and coherence of the project. She serves as the essential bridge between Elio's creative impulse and the talent of Roya, our miniaturist.

Standing at the crossroads of East and West, she weaves subtle correspondences between tradition and contemporary perspectives. Her creative intuition infuses the project with thoughtful and daring ideas, shaping a living dialogue between cultures.

Portrait of Roya

Roya

Miniaturist & Painter

From this collaboration emerged the artwork that adorns the dial of our watch, interpreted by Roya, a contemporary heir to a millennia-old tradition: Persian miniature painting.

On the dial, you will notice subtle reliefs, a testament to the remarkable craftsmanship of our artist and the signature soul embedded in each of our pieces.

Roya is an Iranian painter and miniaturist currently living in Turkey. Her passion for fine details led her to begin painting and illuminating miniatures professionally as a teenager. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Handicrafts and a Master's degree in Ceramic Art.

Over the years, she has participated in numerous exhibitions, festivals, and art projects in Iran, and she has also taught at various art centers and universities. After emigrating, she expanded her artistic and international activities to include miniature painting on watch dials, illumination, Persian painting, as well as oil and acrylic painting. She works with watercolor, gouache, and acrylic, and brings her works to life through traditional Iranian miniature techniques such as ghalamgiri (fine brushwork) and pardaz (delicate shading and texturing). To be a miniaturist is to possess a patience that borders on the meditative. Roya has cultivated a technique that requires surgical precision, where the canvas is measured in millimeters and a single brushstroke can define an entire narrative. This is a skill set forged through years of rigorous discipline, requiring a steady hand, intense focus, and a profound understanding of scale and color.
